Infrastructure Access through Kubernetes Ingress

Take care with annotations. They unlock advanced features like rate limiting, WebSocket support, and backend protocol upgrades. Improper settings here can break routes or open security holes. Version drift between Kubernetes and your chosen controller can also introduce subtle issues—always match release cycles carefully.
Ingress is the cleanest way to expose apps, but it is not magic. It needs proper CIDR allowlists, secrets management, and health checks at both the controller and service level. Monitor it like any other critical workload. Latency at ingress affects every application behind it.
